Feed Silo

PSSILO Feed Silos are conical-bottom storage systems designed for the safe storage and controlled discharge of feed and suitable bulk materials in farms, feed mills and livestock facilities.

Available in diameters from 1.83 to 4.57 meters and capacities from 4.10 to 163.34 m³, the silos can be configured according to different storage and operational requirements.

The conical-bottom design supports efficient gravity discharge, while the durable galvanized construction and practical inspection and maintenance features provide a reliable solution for daily feed storage operations.

CONICAL BOTTOM & EFFICIENT DISCHARGE

The conical-bottom structure allows the stored product to move naturally toward the silo outlet, supporting efficient and controlled gravity discharge.

Fasteners used in the lower conical section are designed with rounded internal surfaces to help reduce product accumulation and wear inside the silo.

The bottom discharge chamber is manufactured from durable galvanized steel, providing a robust solution for frequent unloading operations.

600 g/m² GALVANIZED PROTECTION

PSSILO Feed Silos use 600 g/m² galvanized coating on the body and roof sheets.

The high galvanized coating weight provides strong corrosion protection for steel surfaces exposed to outdoor conditions and supports long-term durability of the silo structure.

HIGH-STRENGTH FASTENERS

Class 10.9 high-strength bolts and fasteners are used in PSSILO Feed Silos.

The fasteners feature Geomet 500 A-PLUS coating for enhanced corrosion resistance.

This combination provides strong structural connections while helping protect critical connection points against demanding environmental conditions.

EASY INSPECTION & MAINTENANCE

A dedicated access hatch is located in the lower conical section to facilitate cleaning and provide access when required.

A transparent inspection window also allows operators to visually check the stored product and product level.

These features simplify routine inspection, cleaning and maintenance during daily operation.

ANTI-DRIP PROTECTION

The silo body extends below its connection point with the conical section to create an Anti-Drip Ring.

This design helps direct rainwater and precipitation away from the body-to-cone connection, providing additional protection against moisture at this critical connection area.

SAFE ACCESS

The silo structure incorporates access features designed to support safe inspection and maintenance activities.

Depending on the silo configuration, the access system includes:

• Access ladder
• Safety cage
• Non-slip embossed steps
• Roof access ladder
• Roof railing

These features provide practical access to the upper silo and inspection areas.

TRANSPORT & REPOSITIONING

Transport and lifting lugs are positioned at suitable points on the silo structure.

When required, these lifting points allow the installed silo to be lifted by crane and repositioned, providing additional flexibility for farms and feed production facilities where layouts may change over time.

FARM & FEED MILL INTEGRATION

PSSILO Feed Silos can operate as individual storage units or be integrated into complete feed production and material handling systems.

Depending on project requirements, the silo can be integrated with:
