Silo Aeration System

PSSILO Silo Aeration Systems are designed to help protect stored grain from quality deterioration caused by temperature increase and excess moisture.

Overview

Silo Aeration System

Aeration fans installed at the bottom of the silo provide controlled airflow through the grain mass, helping maintain suitable storage conditions and preserve grain quality during storage.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC AIRFLOW & PRESSURE CALCULATION

The same fan capacity cannot be applied to every silo.

The required airflow, pressure and motor power are calculated according to:

  • Silo capacity
  • Grain depth
  • Type of stored grain
  • Operating conditions

This allows the fan and aeration system to be properly sized according to the actual storage conditions of each silo.

DURABLE FAN CONSTRUCTION

PSSILO aeration fan housings are manufactured from high-quality galvanized steel sheets, providing durability and corrosion resistance for long-term operation.

Fan body components are assembled using bolted connections, creating a strong and serviceable construction.

SILO SYSTEM INTEGRATION

The aeration system is engineered as an integral part of the grain storage system rather than as a standalone fan.

Fan capacity and operating parameters are determined according to silo geometry, stored product and required airflow, ensuring that the aeration system operates efficiently with the silo.

WHY PSSILO?

At PSSILO, silo aeration is more than simply selecting a fan.

Airflow, required pressure and motor power are calculated according to silo capacity, grain depth and stored product. This allows each aeration system to be engineered according to the actual requirements of the project.
